Saya cek hasil schedule Backup database SQL server 2005 tidak berhasil, kemudian saya cek history dari backup schedule tersebut ternyata terdapat error seperti dibawah:
” failed with the following error: “The backup data at the end of “..\mybackup.bak” is incorrectly formatted. Backup sets on the media might be damaged and unusable.
To determine the backup sets on the media, use RESTORE HEADERONLY. To determine the usability of the backup sets, run RESTORE VERIFYONLY. If all of the backup sets are incomplete, reformat the media using BACKUP WITH FORMAT, which destroys all the backup sets. BACKUP DATABASE is terminating abnormally.”. Possible failure reasons: Problems with the query, “ResultSet” property not set correctly, parameters not set correctly, or connection not established correctly.
ehmm, klaua dilihat dari errornya kayaknya ada masalah dengan file hasil backup sebelumnya, biasa untuk memastikan tanya “mbah google” dulu, dan dapat hasilnya pada link ini:

Gak salah prediksi saya sebelumnya. Kalau menurut aturannya sih sebaiknya saya lakukan ini (yang ditebalkan):

Tapi kan gak mesti sama caranya yang penting tujuanya sama:). Saya coba pakai cara sendiri aja, yaitu delete langsung file hasil backup sebelumnya (file mybackup.bak di delete).
Namun jangan lupa backup dulu file tersebut, bila suatu saat diperlukan, jadi gak repot nyarinya:)
Setelah itu backup ulang.
wusss…jalan normal kembali.
